Dye Sublimation Transfers – Durable, Vibrant, and Fade-Resistant

Dye sublimation transfers are a durable and fade-resistant method of heat transfer that differs from traditional heat transfer vinyl. Instead of pressing a vinyl layer onto the garment, sublimation infuses the ink into the fibers, creating a permanent design with the same texture as the fabric itself.

These transfers are ideal for 100% polyester and white or light-colored garments (sublimation blanks) but can also be applied to 50/50 blends or cotton for a distressed vintage look. Although sublimation can be used on dark fabrics, visibility may vary, so lighter surfaces are recommended.

Sublimation Transfer Application Instructions

• Temperature: 375° F - 400° F
• Time: 30-90 seconds
• Peel: Peel HOT
• Pressure: Medium to Firm
• Materials: White 100% polyester garments, Dye sublimated ready dishware (mugs, plates, etc.), or Dye Sub Blanks
• Care: Soft Blanks: Wash inside out with like colors. Do not use softerners. Do not bleach. Cool iron, do not dry clean, tumble dry low. Hard Blanks: Hand or machine wash - normal settings.

Sublimation Transfers only work on polyester and work best on white polyester garments. They create full vibrant colors on light colored garments. For sport performance applications, where garment weight is crucial, sublimation transfers add little weight to the garment. In addition to garments, multiple additional products are compatible with sublimation transfers.
